Sprouted Grain Chili Bean Pizzawith Guacamole

I love pizza, particularly chili bean pizza, but I wanted to come up

with a healthier homemade version than what you might find

in a local pizza shop. It's quick, nutritious, economical

and the guac makes it richly delicious!


Pizza


Ingredients:

  • 2 Trader Joe's Sprouted Grain Pre-Made Pizza Crusts

  • 1 28 oz can Eden Organic Black Beans, rinsed well

  • 1 jar Salsa (I used Whole Foods Black Bean and Corn Salsa)

  • 1 8 oz bag Thin Shredded Mozzarella & Cheddar Cheese


Instructions:

  1. Mix beans, salsa and cheese in a bowl and spread over pizza crusts.

  2. Bake at 400 degrees on pizza tray until cheese is browned.


Guacamole




Ingredients:

  • 3 Ripe Avocado

  • 2 Whole Chopped Egg*

  • Juice of Half a Lemon

  • Garlic Powder, Sea Salt and Pepper

*(natural sulfur in egg preserves the beautiful green color of fresh guac!)
